Marvin Williams

Marvin Williams has extensive experience in public works management, currently serving as the Environmental & Street Services Director and previously as the Director of Public Works for the City of Durham since July 2011. Prior to this, Marvin held the position of Deputy Director of Public Works (Operations) in the City of Richmond, Virginia, from February 2010 to June 2011, where responsibilities included managing various operational divisions. From October 2005 to February 2010, Marvin acted as the Director of Public Works for the City of DeLand, overseeing a wide range of infrastructure services. Educational qualifications include a BS in Civil Engineering from San Diego State University and several leadership certificates from institutions including the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Indian River State College.
