Evan Berrett

Evan Berrett has a diverse work experience, starting in 2013 as a Senior Instructional Designer & LMS Administrator at Academy Mortgage Corporation. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Summer Intern at Sandy City. Following that, they joined the City Of Eagle Mountain in 2016 as a Management Intern and later transitioned to the role of Senior Management Analyst. In 2020, they became an Assistant to the City Administrator and eventually took on the additional responsibility of Economic Development Director.

Evan Berrett holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration, which they obtained from Penn State University between the years 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration with a focus on Political Science from Brigham Young University between 2011 and 2013.

Before attending Brigham Young University, Evan spent a year (2010-2011) at Brigham Young University-Hawaii, studying Political Science. Evan began their higher education journey at Columbia Basin College, where they earned an Associate degree in Art and Science from 2006 to 2010.

Evan Berrett completed their secondary education at Richland High School, obtaining a High School Diploma in General Studies between 2003 and 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Evan Berrett has also obtained various certifications. In November 2014, they became a Certified Emergency Response Team (CERT) Member through FEMA. Evan obtained their sUAS Part 107 Operator License from the Federal Aviation Administration in November 2017. Lastly, in February 2020, Evan completed the ICMA Emerging Leaders Development Program, offered by the International City/County Management Association.
