Lauren Lapine

Lauren LaPine, MPH, is an experienced public health professional actively serving as a Board Member for both the Mental Health Association in Michigan and the Citizens Research Council of Michigan. Currently holding the position of Senior Director of Legislative and Public Policy at the Michigan Health & Hospital Association, Lauren has a strong background in health policy, previously serving as Director of Small & Rural Hospitals & Policy Programs. In addition to roles in public service, Lauren contributes as a Commissioner on the East Lansing Planning & Zoning Commission and has been involved in leadership development through the East Lansing Emerging Leaders Program. Lauren's prior experience includes integral positions at the Michigan Public Health Institute and a national coalition for Doctorate of Public Health professionals. Educational credentials include ongoing doctoral studies in Public Health at the University of Illinois Chicago and a Master of Public Health from Michigan State University.
