Hamzah Al-Rashdan is an experienced Traffic, Transportation, and ITS Engineer with a strong background in traffic signal design, highway geometric validation, and transportation network simulation, currently employed by the City of Edmond since July 2015. Previous roles include a research position at NASA addressing improvements in space shuttle pump efficiency and academic research focusing on centrifugal pump optimization and aerodynamic simulations, conducted during studies at the University of Central Oklahoma. Hamzah holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Central Oklahoma, preceded by studies in Aerospace Mechanical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma.
