Jennifer Wardle

Jennifer Wardle, MPl, RPP, MCIP, currently serves as an Open Space Planner II for the City of Edmonton, a role held since September 2025. Prior experience includes over a decade at the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, where Jennifer held various positions from Planner I to Planner III, leading significant projects like the Urban Area Project for Census 2025 and the Downtown Revitalization Incentives Program. Jennifer's career began with roles including researcher for the Canadian Utopias Project and project coordinator at O'Connor Associates Environmental Inc. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Ryerson University, a Sustainable Community Development certificate from Simon Fraser University, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of British Columbia.
