Monica Martinez, MPA, serves as a Senior Management Analyst in Public Works for the City of El Cajon since April 2017. Prior to this role, Monica held various positions within the Municipal Management Association of Southern California (MMASC) from December 2015 to November 2019, including Director of Programming, Director of Membership Services, and Region 8 Board Member for the San Diego Area. Monica’s experience also includes working as a Management Analyst in the Development Services Department for the City of Poway from February 2015 to April 2017 and as a Graduate Student Intern/Assistant in both the Finance Department for the City of Santee and the City of Lemon Grove. Monica holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from San Diego State University.
