Ben Fyffe

Ben Fyffe is an experienced professional in the field of cultural affairs and recreation, currently serving as the Managing Director of Quality of Life for the City of El Paso, Texas since February 2020, overseeing strategic initiatives for two departments while managing twelve facilities, including convention and performing arts centers. Fyffe's extensive background includes roles as Managing Director of Cultural Affairs & Recreation, Assistant Director, and Cultural Programs Supervisor at the City of El Paso Museums & Cultural Affairs Department, where responsibilities encompassed budget oversight, cultural grantmaking, and management of local arts initiatives. Prior experience includes significant contributions at the El Paso Museum of Art and Mexic-Arte Museum, alongside educational roles in various arts and community programs. Ben Fyffe holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from The University of Texas at Austin.
