Kimberly Dewis has extensive experience in municipal governance, currently serving as the City Clerk for the City of Elgin since June 2011. In this role, Kimberly attends city council meetings, transcribes minutes, maintains official records, and ensures compliance with relevant statutes and ordinances. Prior to this position, Kimberly was the Deputy Village Clerk for the Village of Mount Prospect from January 1999 to December 2010, where duties included drafting minutes, preparing agendas, and managing records for optimal compliance and training. Kimberly's career in records management began as a Senior Records Management Analyst at Boise Cascade Office Products from January 1997 to January 1999. Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Northern Illinois University and has completed education with the Illinois Municipal Clerks.
