Tish Powell

Tish Powell is an experienced professional in municipal sales and public service, currently serving as the Manager of Municipal Sales at Republic Services since July 2020, focusing on government affairs and business development in suburban Chicago. Additionally, Tish Powell has been a City Council Member for the City of Elgin since April 2011, actively collaborating with stakeholders on legislative and economic initiatives for a community exceeding 100,000 residents. Previous roles include President of TP Consulting, Municipal Marketing Manager at Advanced Disposal Services, and Sustainability Specialist at McHenry County College. Tish Powell holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Public Administration with a focus on Urban Management from Northern Illinois University.
