Carlos Baldenegro P.e., L.s.i.t.

Carlos Baldenegro, P.E., L.S.I.T. serves as a Senior Engineer in the City of Encinitas' Engineering Department, focusing on various park and infrastructure improvements since June 2023. With extensive experience in civil engineering, Carlos spent over two decades at the Port of Los Angeles managing alternative energy programs, including significant solar and wind power projects, and played a key role in maintenance dredging initiatives. Prior experience includes positions at the City of Los Angeles across multiple departments, where Carlos developed expertise in structural engineering and drafting. Carlos holds a BSCE in Structural Engineering from the University of Southern California and a BSCE in Surveying Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, among other educational credentials, including a Project Management certificate from UCLA Extension.
