Chris Groner

Chris Groner currently serves as the Director of the Office of Development Finance for the City of Erie, Pennsylvania, a position held since March 2024. Prior to this role, Chris Groner was the Vice President of Capital Finance and Lending at the Erie County Redevelopment Authority from August 2020 to March 2024. Chris Groner's extensive experience with the City of Erie includes serving as Director of the Department of Economic and Community Development and roles focused on budget analysis and financial reporting. Previous military service includes positions in the United States Navy Supply Corps and the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP). Education credentials include participation in the Bloomberg Harvard City Leadership Initiative and a degree in Finance from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College.
