McRp Claire Schechtman

Claire Schechtman, MCRP, is a skilled professional in public art and community engagement, currently serving as Project Coordinator for the Percent for Art in Public Places program at Oregon Arts Commission and as Public Art Project Coordinator for the City of Eugene. Claire has extensive experience in community organizing, having co-founded the Whiteaker Community Market and worked as a Bilingual Administrative Assistant at FOOD for Lane County. Additional roles include Social Media Marketing Specialist for the Whiteaker Community Council, Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Oregon, and various positions focusing on event assistance and organic farming. Claire holds a Master's degree in Community Regional Planning from the University of Oregon, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in International Studies with a focus on food security.
