Chanc Bennett

Fire Chief at City of Euless

Chanc Bennett has extensive work experience in the field of emergency response and fire services. Chanc currently serves as the Fire Chief for the City of Euless, a position they started in October 2021. Prior to this, Chanc worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Tarrant County College, where they taught various emergency response techniques. Chanc also served as a Technical Search Specialist for Texas Task Force One, specializing in search techniques, navigation, mapping, and canine support. Chanc's experience also includes working as the Operations Chief for the Euless Fire Department, overseeing day-to-day operations and coordinating training. Before that, they worked as a Fire Investigator for EFI Global.

Chanc Bennett attended West Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Emergency Management. Prior to that, they attended Weatherford College in 1998 and 1999, completing the Police Academy program. In 1995, Chanc attended UT Southwestern's Paramedic School. Chanc also pursued education at Tarrant County College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Fire Protection. Additionally, Chanc has some educational experience at the National Fire Academy, although specific details regarding their start and end years are not available.
