Erin Deveney, Esq. has a diverse and impressive work history. Starting in 2000, Deveney served in various roles within the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, including Deputy Registrar for Policy and Planning and General Counsel in the RMV division. From 2006 to 2008, they served as the General Counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Criminal Justice Information Services. In 2008, they became the Chief of Staff for the City of Everett, and then went on to serve as Chief of Staff for the MassDOT RMV division from 2009 to 2014. In 2014, they were appointed as the Interim Commissioner/Deputy Commissioner for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. In 2015, Deveney returned to MassDOT as the Division Administrator for RMV. Finally, in 2019, they worked as a Management Consultant, partnering with organizations to navigate organizational change and leadership development. Currently, they are serving as the Chief of Staff for the City of Everett, overseeing all aspects of municipal governance. Throughout their career, Deveney has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing teams and implementing transformative changes in various organizations.
Erin Deveney, Esq. holds a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from Suffolk University Law School. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government from the College of the Holy Cross. There is direct public transit access to Boston, Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's Seaport and close proximity to major transit corridors: I-90, I-93, and Route 1. With over 46,000 residents in 3.2 square miles, Everett is one of the densest and most diverse communities in the Commonwealth.
