Jon Petty has extensive experience in information technology, currently serving as the Director of IT for the City of Fairborn since May 2010. In this role, Jon Petty has successfully organized and modernized the server room into a Data Center, designed and managed a Juniper/Cisco LAN environment, and implemented network upgrades to 10Gb Ethernet. Key accomplishments include managing firewalls, configuring VPN solutions, restructuring wireless communication, and upgrading phone systems for VoIP deployment. Prior to this position, Jon Petty worked as a Network Analyst at Winsupply from 2005 to 2010, where responsibilities included managing a large Cisco LAN/WAN environment and providing end-user support. Jon Petty holds an AAB degree in Computer Information Technology/System Administrator from Edison State Community College.
