Assistant Director Of Cultural Affairs & Marketing at City of Farmington - Farmington, New Mexico

Christa Chapman has a diverse work experience in various roles. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as a Campground Manager for the Lassen College Foundation, where they built a concessionaire business to raise funds for scholarships. From 2010 to 2013, they served as the Executive Director of the Aztec Chamber of Commerce, fostering a healthy business environment and organizing community events. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Four Corners Economic Development Inc, focusing on strengthening and diversifying the regional economy. Since 2011, they have also been an Adjunct Faculty member at San Juan College. Most recently, since 2016, they have been serving as the Assistant Director of Cultural Affairs & Marketing at City of Farmington, managing public relations, communications, and marketing efforts for multiple divisions and facilities within the Parks, Recreation, & Cultural Affairs department.

Christa Chapman earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Boston University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Christa then pursued a Master's degree in Integrated Marketing Communication at Georgetown University, where they are currently enrolled and expected to complete their studies in 2023.
