Missy Cole Phr

Missy Cole has over 20 years of experience in human resources and leadership roles. Their most recent position is as the Director of Human Resources at the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Prior to that, they worked for Encompass Health as a Senior Director of Human Resources for seven years. Missy also served as a Director of Human Resources at UHS, overseeing all HR areas for Springwoods Behavioral Health Hospital. Missy has also held positions as an HR Director at Regency Hospital Company and as the Senior Vice President of People at Signature Bank of Arkansas. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Human Resources Project Manager at FRESENIUS DBA RENAL CARE GROUP and as an Area Human Resources Manager at Renal Care Group, Inc. Missy began their HR career at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc., where they held various roles including Region HR/Risk Manager and Project Manager. Missy Cole is a certified PHR and SHRM-CP professional.

Missy Cole, PHR, SHRM-CP, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Arkansas Tech University, graduating in 1993. Missy obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in December 1998. In December 2015, they also achieved the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM.
