Adam Lindsay

Adam Lindsay is the current Assistant City Manager at the City of Fayetteville. Prior to this, they served as the Interim Town Manager for the Town of Spring Lake NC from December 2020 to March 2021. Before that, they were the Town Manager for the Town of Clayton from September 2016 to September 2020. Adam has also served as the Assistant Town Manager for the Town of Southern Pines, NC from October 2013 to September 2016 and as the Director of Strategic Management for Rockingham County from December 2005 to October 2013. Adam's first job was as a Project Analyst for the Town of Holly Springs from June 2003 to December 2005.

Adam Lindsay has a Master's in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor's in Communication and Spanish Minor from North Carolina State University. Adam also attended Brigham Young University.

They are on a team with Jay Toland - Assistant City Manager, Telly Whitfield - Assistant City Manager. Their manager is Doug Hewett, City Manager.
