Jeffrey Yates

Jeffrey Yates currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jeffrey held the position of Business Services Director for the City of Tucson from May 2020 to October 2022. Jeffrey's extensive experience in local government includes roles as Executive Director of Administrative Services/CFO for Union County, NC, Director of Finance for the City of Dunedin, CFO/Director of Finance for the City of Kansas City, CFO for the City of Lubbock, Budget Manager for the City of Portsmouth, and Management and Budget Analyst II for the City of Virginia Beach. Academically, Jeffrey earned a Master of Arts in Communication with a focus on Political Communication and a Master of Science in Public Administration from Regent University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences Education from Liberty University.
