Lydian Washington

Lydian Washington is an experienced educator currently working as a Teacher and Teacher Assistant with Cumberland County Schools since July 2019. Additional experience includes serving as a Summer Camp Counselor for the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2022 and 2023, and previously holding roles such as Leasing Consultant at American Landmark Apartments and Bookkeeper at American Campus Communities. Lydian holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a Bachelor of Arts in History with minors in American Studies and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior roles also include work as a Childcare Provider and a Student Library Assistant during earlier educational pursuits.
