Philip Whitfield

Philip Whitfield has extensive work experience in finance and business operations. Philip currently holds the position of Finance Director at the City of Ferndale, Michigan. In their previous roles, they served as the Vice-President of Finance at HBZ Premier Comedy Agency, LLC and the Director of Business Operations at HAVEN Oakland County. Philip also worked at Northeast Guidance Center as the Vice President of Finance and Business Operations, as well as the Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, Whitfield has experience as the President/CEO of Whitfield Business Consulting, Finance Contractor at United Way for Southeastern Michigan, and Fiscal Manager at Southeast Michigan Community Alliance. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief Accounting Officer at Detroit Black Dollar and as the Accounting Manager I at the Detroit Workforce Development Department.

Philip Whitfield attended PennWest Edinboro from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Speech Communications.
