Armando Valles

Armando Valles has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Armando is currently serving as the Parks, Community, and Human Services Commissioner for the City of Fontana, where they promote and delivers various programs and services that cater to the residents' recreational and community needs. Armando's responsibilities also include providing guidance on the maintenance and operations of numerous community facilities.

Prior to their current role, Armando worked as the Enterprise Fund Manager for the Cemetery Division at the City of Redlands. During their tenure, they managed the day-to-day operations of Hillside Memorial Park, the largest city-owned cemetery in California. Armando was responsible for overseeing business development plans and ensuring smooth operations.

Armando's previous employment includes serving as the General Manager and General Sales Manager at Desert View Mortuary, Crematory, and Memorial Park. In this role, they managed the day-to-day operations of a unique combo facility that included a cemetery, funeral home, crematory, pet cemetery, and care center. Armando also provided care center and cremation services to another sister location in Barstow.

Furthermore, Armando worked as the Location Manager at Funeraria del Angel Bell. Armando'sresponsibilities included overseeing the day-to-day operations of the mortuary and arranging burial and cremation services for families. Armando also focused on increasing sales production and profitability.

Armando Valles obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona in the years 2008-2012. Prior to that, they earned an Associate degree in General Education- Cal State Certification from Chaffey College in 2007-2008, and another Associate degree in Liberal Arts and Science from the same institution in 2004-2006.

In addition to their educational background, Armando Valles has acquired several certifications. Armando obtained a Cemetery Broker certification from the Cemetery and Funeral Bureau in February 2016. In the same month and institution, they also obtained certifications as a Cemetery Manager and Crematory Manager. Earlier, in April 2014, they became a Certified Crematory Operator through the American Crematory Equipment Co. Furthermore, in September 2011, they acquired a Funeral Director License from the Cemetery and Funeral Bureau.
