Jennifer Barcenas

Jennifer Barcenas has a strong background in information technology and project management. Jennifer began their career as an IT Support Supervisor at Rite Aid Drug Stores, where they managed a team and conducted performance assessments at various retail stores. After that, they worked at Community Bank as an IT Support Supervisor, providing end user support and ensuring timely issue escalation. Jennifer then joined the City of Fontana, initially serving as an IT Support Supervisor before being promoted to Acting Information Technology Director. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating information technology operations for all city departments and providing staff assistance to the Deputy City Manager. Most recently, they assumed the position of Director of the Innovation and Technology Department at the City of Fontana, where they oversee the development of technology services and policies.

Jennifer Barcenas completed their Master's Degree in Management from the University of Redlands in 2015-2016. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix - Ontario from 2003-2007. Additionally, Jennifer holds a certification in Interop ITX Full-Stack Certified, obtained at an unspecified date.
