Carolyn Conant

Carolyn Conant is an experienced professional specializing in energy efficiency, sustainability, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Technical Assistance Manager at the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), Carolyn manages initiatives aimed at enhancing energy upgrades in affordable housing and oversees support for Department of Energy programs. As a Planning Commissioner for the City of Moab, Carolyn assesses zoning petitions with a focus on community wellbeing and environmental concerns. Previous roles include Energy Services Project Manager and Climate Action & Municipal Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Fort Collins, where Carolyn led residential energy efficiency programs and facilitated citywide climate action initiatives. Carolyn holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Sociology from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Analysis, Anthropology, and Spanish from New York University.
