Ryan R. Maehl Mpa, Cpre

Ryan R. Maehl, MPA, CPRE, serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Fort Dodge since 2008, where responsibilities include leading city-wide projects, enhancing broadband options, and managing large facility renovations. Prior roles include Assistant Recreation Director, focused on community programming and process improvements, and Recreation Administrator, responsible for developing youth and adult programs. Additionally, Ryan has held positions as a National Certification Board Member with the National Recreation and Park Association, President and other leadership roles with the Iowa Parks and Recreation Association, and as an adjunct instructor at Iowa Central Community College. Ryan's educational background includes a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Upper Iowa University and a Teaching Certificate in Physical Education, Health, and Coaching from Simpson College.
