Elgin Hicks currently serves as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Fort Myers since May 2022. In addition, Elgin Hicks has been the Owner of Make It Count Sports, a youth nonprofit academy and sports program, since February 2008. Prior to the current role, Elgin Hicks was the Head Football Coach at Island Coast High School from March 2020 to May 2022. Elgin Hicks holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of South Florida, earned between 2000 and 2004, and attended the University of Florida from 1999 to 2000.
