Nicole Monahan

Nicole Monahan, P.E., ENV SP, currently serves as the City Engineer for the City of Fort Myers since July 2016. With extensive experience in project management and construction inspection for local government transportation projects, Nicole previously held the position of Senior Project Manager at Hole Montes from June 2007 to March 2017. Prior to that role, Nicole worked as Engineering Manager at the Lee County Department of Transportation from February 1999 to May 2007 and as Development Services Representative at Lee County Community Development from June 1997 to February 1999. Early career experience includes serving as an Engineering Intern at W. Dexter Bender & Associates from June 1992 to June 1997. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering, both from the University of Miami, where studies took place from 1987 to 1992.
