Daniel E. Burnham, P.E., PTOE, is a seasoned traffic engineer with extensive experience in public works, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Public Works and City Engineer for the City of Arlington since June 2004. Previously, Daniel held positions as Senior Engineer Traffic, Project Engineer Traffic, and Traffic Engineer, providing vital traffic engineering expertise to the community. In addition to traffic engineering, Daniel has managed various capital improvement projects, including sidewalk and curb ramp installations, major arterial rebuilds, and channel improvements. Earlier in Daniel's career, valuable experience was gained as a Graduate Engineer at the City of Arlington and as an Engineering Intern at the City of Cedar Hill. Daniel began the professional journey as a Mason's Helper with Master Masonry. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, following studies at Dallas College.
