Mark Fling

Mark Fling is a Recreation Specialist at the City of Fort Walton Beach since August 2019, with prior experience as a Game Operations Intern at the University of West Florida, where duties included managing game operations for sporting events. Previous roles include serving as the Newsong Worship Minister at Christ United Methodist Church in Mobile, Alabama, where team creation and scheduling were key responsibilities, and as a Recreation Intern at Crosspoint United Methodist, focusing on organizing sports activities and developing a sports program for a mission trip. Mark's early career involved planning and supervising youth mission trips while serving as a Youth Ministry Intern at Destin United Methodist Church. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of West Florida, completed in 2018.
