Gp McLeer

GP McLeer is an accomplished leader in public policy and community relations, currently serving as the Director of Public Policy & Community Relations at Together SC since June 2024. With extensive experience in regional transportation as the Director of Upstate Mobility Alliance, GP is advancing transportation solutions across ten counties in South Carolina. As Mayor of Fountain Inn, GP oversees a population of over 12,000 and manages a budget exceeding $40 million. Additional leadership roles include Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Pecan Public Relations, Executive Director at SC Arts Alliance, and Administrator of the Office of Cultural Affairs in the City of Mauldin. GP's earlier roles also include Executive Director of the Mauldin Cultural Center and Development Assistant at Charleston Stage. GP holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts Management from the College of Charleston.
