Rebecca Mejia-Ward

Rebecca Mejia-Ward has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Fountain Inn since July 2020. Prior to this, Rebecca held various HR roles including Director of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager, and Assistant Human Resources Director at the City of Hartsville, where responsibilities included managing employee benefits and payroll, training, and performance evaluation. Additional experience includes positions as a Human Resources Generalist at Magna International and Olsten Staffing Services, and as a Human Resources Assistant at GAF. Rebecca also possesses a diverse background in customer relations and marketing from roles at Sunbelt Rentals, Whirlpool Corporation, and Arthur Andersen, demonstrating a strong foundation in both operational and strategic capacities. Rebecca holds a high school diploma with a focus in Business Administration and Management.
