Russell Slatton currently serves as the Assistant City Administrator and Director of Public Works for the City of Fountain Inn since March 2021. Prior to this role, Russell worked as the Director of Public Services for the City of Hartsville, South Carolina, from March 2017 to March 2021, and held the position of Assistant Program Manager at Frontier Technologies for a brief period in late 2016. Russell's military experience includes serving as Chief Staff Officer for the Commander, Submarine Squadron 6 from November 2012 to July 2016, and as Flag Secretary for the Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic from April 2011 to November 2012. Russell holds a Master's Degree in Workforce Development and Training and a Bachelor of Applied Science in the same field, both from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
