Shawn M. Bell, ICMA-CM, has extensive experience in municipal administration, currently serving as City Administrator for the City of Fountain Inn since October 2017. Prior to this role, Shawn held similar positions as City Administrator for the City of Lake City, SC, from November 2014 to September 2017, and as Assistant to the City Manager in the City of Abbeville from May 2013 to October 2014. Early career experiences include roles in public relations and legislative assistance with various governmental and political organizations. Shawn holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
