Ed Garcia

Ed Garcia is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in the public sector, currently serving as a Senior Civil Engineer with the City of Fremont since June 2016. Prior to this role, Ed held positions as Senior Civil Engineer and Associate Civil Engineer with the County of San Mateo Department of Public Works from December 1996 to May 2016. Earlier in the career, Ed worked as a Design Engineer for Brian Kangas Foulk and served as an Assistant Transportation Engineer at Meyer Mohaddes Associates. Additionally, Ed began the career as a Civil Engineering Student at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works and as an Engineering Intern for the City of Covina. Ed earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, following graduation from Lowell High School in San Francisco.
