Maddison Zikmund

Maddison Zikmund, MBA, SPHR, serves as the Deputy Director and Fire Chief for the City of Fridley since January 2021. In addition to this role, Maddison is a Board Member for the American Red Cross Minnesota Region, providing support across the organization’s services. With extensive experience in fire safety, Maddison has held various positions including Contract Instructor at the National Fire Academy and President of the Minnesota Fire Exploring Association. Previous roles include Assistant Chief and Division Chief at Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View Fire Department, and General Manager at Stauber Brothers Sporting Goods. Academic achievements include an MBA with a focus on Human Resource Management from Capella University, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Management from Bethel University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
