Eddie Manfro has an extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Eddie began their career as a Personnel Analyst at the City of Alhambra in 1992, where they performed various functions related to recruitment, selection, classification/compensation surveys, and labor relations. Eddie then moved on to the City of Hawthorne, where they worked as a Personnel Analyst, responsible for recruitment, selection, benefits administration, and labor relations. After that, Eddie joined the City of Santa Monica as a Human Resources Analyst and later became a Senior Human Resources Analyst, focusing on human resources analysis and management. In 2003, they joined the City of La Mesa as a Human Resources Manager, overseeing HR operations. Eddie then worked at the City of Westminster, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Human Resources and Risk Management, Assistant City Manager, and ultimately retired as the City Manager, overseeing all operational areas and managing a significant budget. Currently, they are employed at the City of Fullerton, initially as a Human Resources Consultant and then as the Interim Director of Human Resources. Eddie is now serving as the Director of Human Resources, responsible for leading HR operations.
Eddie Manfro received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Redlands, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. Eddie later pursued a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree at California State University-Dominguez Hills from 1996 to 1999.
