Pamela Waldeck has over 30 years of work experience, starting as a Shift Manager at Pizza Hut in 1991. Pamela then joined the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department in 1997, where they held various roles, including Patrolman, Staff Inspections Support Officer & Public Information Officer, Narcotics Investigator Assigned to Federal Task Force, Police Detective, Captain, Assistant Chief, and Deputy Chief. In 2021, they joined Hy-Vee, Inc. as an Assistant Vice President Retail Security for the West Region. Pamela is currently the Chief of Police for the City of Gardner since 2023.
Pamela Waldeck has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Kansas State University. Pamela also holds a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Leadership from Baker University. Additionally, Pamela has attended the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police (SMIP) Session 68.
