Erin Buttitta is an experienced Emergency Management Specialist currently working with the City of Garland since May 2023, after completing an internship in Emergency Management with the City of Rowlett from November 2022 to May 2023, where significant contributions included developing active shooter exercises and engaging with stakeholders. Prior to these roles, Erin gained valuable experience as a Safety Coordinator at Costco Wholesale, leading safety initiatives and training, and held various positions within Costco, as well as with H-E-B, Toys R Us, and Texas A&M University as a student researcher focused on atmospheric sciences. Erin holds a Master of Science in Emergency Management from Millersville University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from Texas A&M University.
