Gimel Gimeno

Gimel Gimeno is an experienced Project Manager at the City of Garland, overseeing CIP projects since June 2019. Prior to this, Gimel held the position of Engineer at Dallas Water Utilities from July 2008 to June 2019, where responsibilities included hydraulic modeling, water loss analysis, and the design of 55,000 LF of water and wastewater pipelines. Gimel's early career included an Engineer Assistant role at Metropolitan Infrastructure, PLLC, focusing on plan delivery, basic surveying, and drainage design. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Mathematics with a minor in Physics from The University of Texas at Arlington, along with education from The University of Texas at Austin, the University of the Philippines, and Hua Siong College.
