Matthew Hosek has extensive experience in occupational safety and health, currently serving as an Occupational Safety Health Specialist, Safety Coordinator, and Event Coordinator at the City of Garland since December 2005. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Branch Manager at First National Bank Texas from September 2004 to December 2005 and managed a store at Pier 1 Imports from April 1999 to June 2004. Relevant research experience includes a tenure as a Researcher at Ploski Cell and Molecular Neuroscience Laboratory from May 2012 to August 2017, focusing on the molecular and intracellular basis for emotional learning and memory. Matthew's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a focus on Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas and an Associate of Science degree in Biology from Collin College.
