Dana Hendrix is an accomplished librarian with extensive experience in various senior roles in library management and services. Currently serving as the Technical Services Librarian for the City of Georgetown since January 2015, Dana oversees budget management, collection policies, and both physical and digital collections. Previous positions include Adult Services Librarian and Fine Arts Librarian at the Georgetown Public Library, where Dana planned programs, selected materials, and managed cultural programming. With a foundational career at Southwestern University, Dana held titles such as Director of Library Resources and Head of Collection Development, supervising staff and managing budgets. Additional experience includes roles at The University of Texas at Austin and freelance editorial work in academia. Dana holds a Master of Arts in Library and Information Science and continues education at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
