Jackson Daly

Community Services Director, Assistant Public Works Director at City of Georgetown

Jackson Daly has a diverse work experience in various roles. Jackson started their career as a Legislative Aide at the Texas House of Representatives from May 2008 to May 2009. Jackson then worked as a Media and Public Affairs Intern at the City of Ft. Worth from May 2010 to November 2010. Later, they joined the City of Georgetown, where they held three positions in chronological order. Jackson started as an Executive Assistant to the Assistant City Manager from March 2013 to December 2015, where they received recognition as the 2015 Employee of the Year and the 2014 Divisional Employee of the Year. Jackson then served as an Assistant to the City Manager from December 2015 to January 2020, leading various communication initiatives and acting as a liaison during crisis and emergency communications. Currently, they are working as the Community Services Director and Assistant Public Works Director since January 2020 at the City of Georgetown, overseeing multiple departments and successfully managing emergencies such as the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters.

Jackson Daly completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government at The University of Texas at Austin from 2005 to 2008. Jackson then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from the University of North Texas between 2009 and 2011.
