Andy Sanders, PE, MPA, currently serves as the Assistant City Administrator and Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Germantown since November 2017, overseeing operations, administration, budgeting, and maintenance activities across multiple divisions. Previously, Andy worked as a Development Engineer and Transportation Engineer for the City of Tuscaloosa, managing numerous development projects and improving the permitting process. Prior experience includes serving as Transportation Manager for the Alabama Department of Transportation, where responsibilities included managing the right-of-way permit process and overseeing a significant maintenance budget. Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, a Master's degree in Public Administration from The University of Memphis, and a Master's degree in Theological Studies from Lipscomb University.
