Ethan Skaggs

Ethan Skaggs, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with a diverse background in civil and transportation engineering. Currently serving as City Engineer for the City of Germantown, TN since January 2022, Ethan previously held the role of Assistant City Engineer. Prior experience includes positions as Principal Engineer at LDA Engineering and various roles at the City of Memphis, such as Construction Survey Administrator, Senior Design Engineer, Street Maintenance Manager, and Engineering Street Maintenance Coordinator. Earlier in the career, Ethan worked as an Operations District Specialist at the Tennessee Department of Transportation and as Engineer/Survey Crew Chief at APAC-Tennessee, Inc. An academic foundation was established with a B.S.C.E. in Transportation from the University of Memphis and further credentialing as a Certified ITS Project Manager from the University of Maryland.
