Roy Shackel has over 40 years of experience in security and emergency management roles. Since January 1996, Roy has served as Fire Captain and OES Coordinator for the City of Gilroy. Prior to this, Roy held various positions at IBM, including Security Analyst at IBM Almaden Research Center from August 1990 to January 1996, and Security/Emergency Control Technician at IBM Silicon Valley Lab from March 1987 to August 1990. Roy's career began as a Security/Emergency Control Officer at IBM San Jose from October 1983 to March 1987.
