Jeremy Sweat

Jeremy Sweat currently serves as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Golden since June 2025. Prior to this role, extensive experience was gained at the National Park Service from May 2006 to June 2025, where Jeremy held various positions including Superintendent of Gateway Arch National Park, Regional Chief of Planning and Compliance, Chief of Natural and Cultural Resources, Legislative Affairs Specialist, Policy Analyst, Management Assistant at Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Archaeological Technician. Jeremy's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Anthropology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, both obtained from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
