Tom Young

Tom Young has extensive experience in fire protection and public safety, serving as the Vice President on the Board for Fairmount Fire Protection District since January 1999. Additionally, Tom has held the position of Media Services Captain for the City of Golden since October 1993, following an injury sustained in the line of duty. Earlier roles include Fire Department Manager at Golden Fire Department in 1990 and Combined Building & Fire Inspector for the City of Golden from April 1989 to February 1990, where Tom was responsible for enforcing various building and fire codes, as well as public education on fire safety and hazardous materials mitigation.
