Barry Burrows has extensive experience in parks and maintenance management, currently serving as Parks Superintendent for the City of Grand Island since January 2019. Prior to this role, Barry held the position of Grounds Manager Crew Chief in the City of Grand Island Parks Department. Barry's career in park maintenance began in November 1998, with nearly two decades in various maintenance roles at the City of Grand Island. Before entering public service, Barry gained retail management experience as Store Manager and Assistant Manager at Earl May Seed & Nursery. Barry holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts & Science from Doane College-Lincoln Grand Island and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Commercial Horticulture from Central Community College.
