Brett Huntsman

Brett Huntsman, AICP, is an experienced transportation planner currently working for the City of Grand Prairie since May 2019, focusing on implementing safe and sustainable transportation systems. Prior to this role, Brett served as an Associate Transportation Researcher at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute from June 2015 to May 2019, where research centered on transportation infrastructure investments and innovative funding mechanisms. Earlier experience includes working as a Transportation Planner for the City of Longview MPO from June 2013 to June 2015, providing planning services related to transportation. Brett holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Applied Science in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University, completed in 2018 and 2013, respectively.
