Don Patterson

Don Patterson is currently an IT Support Specialist at the City of Grand Rapids. Don has over 10 years of experience in the IT field. Don previously worked as a System Administrator at Dewpoint from June 2016 to May 2017. Don also worked as a Project Coordinator for the Environmental Services Department of the City of Grand Rapids from December 2011 to June 2016. In this position, they were responsible for representing the City of Grand Rapids IT department to the Environmental Services department and working with other City vendors. Don also assisted in the Operation and Maintenance of Environmental Services department servers. In addition, they provided support for SharePoint, SQL, and MS Office Applications. Don was also responsible for project tracking and reporting and coaching others on technology and IT methodology. Don also created work instructions pertaining to this position and kept them updated. Prior to their work with the City of Grand Rapids, they worked as the RezKidz Audio/Video Director at Resurrection Life Church from November 2011 to August 2020. Before that, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Computer Products and Resources from November 2006 to December 2011. Don Patterson has a wealth of experience in the IT field and is an asset to the City of Grand Rapids IT department.

Don Patterson attended Davenport University, where they studied computer networking. Don then went on to earn their ABA in computer networking.
